Licenses and pricing: 1, 2 or 3 Macs

Unpixel’s price depends on one thing: how many Macs you want to use it on at the same time. You pay once, every tier has every feature, and nothing renews.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars. Where sales tax or VAT applies, it’s calculated for your country at checkout and shown before you pay. Buying Unpixel explains checkout, receipts and invoices.

All three tiers need a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 26 Tahoe or later. Check yours in system requirements before you buy.

No subscription, no trial

You pay once and the license is yours to keep. There’s no account to maintain, no renewal date and nothing to cancel.

There’s also no trial or limited free version. Every purchase comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee instead: use Unpixel on your real work, and if it isn’t right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date.

Updates within the same major version are part of the license, so every 1.x release is yours. If a 2.0 ever appears, it may be a separate purchase. Upgrading would be optional, and 1.x keeps working with your key.

Which tier to choose

Count the Macs you’ll use at the same time, not every Mac you’ll ever own. One activation equals one Mac.

• 1 Mac: one laptop or desktop. When you replace it, you move the license to the new one.
• 2 Macs: for example a work laptop and a desktop at home.
• 3 Macs: a laptop, a desktop and a third Mac you use regularly.

Deleting the app and installing it again on the same Mac doesn’t use another activation, because the license stays in that Mac’s keychain. Erasing the Mac is different. Before you erase, sell or give away a Mac, open Settings → License and click Deactivate This Mac…, or the old activation keeps one of your slots until support frees it. Move your license to another Mac walks through it.

Need more Macs?

A license can’t be enlarged after you buy it, but there are several ways to cover more Macs:

1. Free a Mac you no longer use. Deactivating it frees its slot for the new one.
2. Buy another license. Settings → License has a Buy Another License button that opens the pricing page. Each purchase comes with its own key, so activate the new key on the extra Macs. A Mac uses one key at a time.
3. Picked the wrong tier? Email support within the 14-day window. They’ll refund the extra purchase, or refund one and help you buy the right one.
4. More than three Macs, a team or a classroom: buy as many licenses as you need. Each one is a separate order with its own key. Money-back guarantee

• How long: 14 days from the purchase date.
• How much: the full amount you paid, including any tax.
• How: email support from the address you used at checkout. The order reference from your receipt helps but isn’t required.
• What happens to the key: it’s disabled when the refund goes through. Unpixel then stops copying text at its next license check and shows “License no longer valid”.
